Our Staff
The staff and volunteers at Stone Crest Assisted Living take their mission very seriously. The aim of our staff is to glorify God through efforts to ensure that seniors never feel abandoned - no matter what personal circumstances, seniors can always be certain of their hope in the Lord.

Meet Our Administrators
Lori Haapala - Administrator
My name is Lori Haapala. I have been working in healthcare for 8 years. I started out as a CNA in 2002. I’ve held many positions in the assisted living world, working as a direct care worker, to a shift supervisor, to an activities director, to resident manager, to a dietary director, and finally to where I’m at now; proudly being the Home Manager here at Stone Crest.
I started out in this field because I thought I could be good at it, not knowing the immense amount of joy, hope, and passion that would find me along the way. For me, caring for the elderly has been the most rewarding experience thus far in my life, and I’m so grateful to be a part of such a loving community at Stone Crest. I strive everyday to make Stone Crest a wonderful place to live and an awesome place to work. When I’m not here with our residents, I share my life with my loving family and friends and I thank God everyday for all the blessings in my life.
Bethany Thibault - Associate Administrator
My name is Bethany Thibault. I was raised in the small town of West Branch where the sense of family and community are of great importance and when I first began having a compassion for helping others! I spent much of my younger years at the West Branch Country Club working for my Dad who originally got me interested in business and management.
I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Health Administration from Central Michigan University. One of my greatest accomplishments in my life thus far has been getting my degree in three and a half years while working more than part time throughout. Upon graduation in December 2008, I began working for an Assisted Living home in St. Helen, MI where my love for helping others flourished. After a few months, I was given the opportunity to work at Stone Crest Assisted Living where I have been very happy and blessed to be employed for nearly two years now. I am currently attending Central Michigan University’s online program working towards my Masters of Science in Public Administration.
On a more personal note, I am excited to say that I am starting my family with the expected arrival of my son, John Robert to be March 21, 2011. As my life changes I am so grateful to have a wonderful place to work and interact with so many amazing people.
